Gerrit is one of the few intellectual property experts in Germany who is qualified as both a patent attorney and a lawyer. He provides intellectual property consulting services in a wide range of industries, covering patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, information technology and competition law.

 

He is a senior lawyer in patent drafting and review of applications, and he is also good at handling German domestic and international litigation. He provides representation services for clients in German domestic courts and European courts.

 

Gerrit holds a double diploma in physics and law. In recent years, he has served as a physicist in many technical fields such as medical imaging and robotics. In 2012, he graduated with top grades from the University of Freiburg, Germany, with a doctorate in physics.
